Crochet blanket

This series of canvas was a final outcome I created for one of my level 3 art and design projects. The aim of the brief was to make an outcome based around the word 'connected' that also promotes where you live. My focus for this piece was music as i felt it was something that has the ability to bring people together, the colour scheme of each canvas represents a different music genre (indie, rock and pop) and i also incorporated colours from each canvas into each other so they all have a visual connection.

The top study is a tissue paper collage with watercolour and pencil for added detail, and the bottom study was created using bleach on an inked background
